My First Spit Roast

Postby FishHead » Wed Jul 13, 2016 8:04 pm

I picked up battery powered spit roaster from bbq's galore last week

Made up a bracket for it to fit into the bbq still some modifying to do but it worked great !

Bought a topside roast yesterday from the butcher , just had my first go tonight/arvo and it turned out great for my first go at it !!!

No Hood ! What you see is It ! This took nearly 4 hours ( low and slow ) the last 30mins i really stoked the coals up to get the crackling happening as you can see in the last pic

This was one of the most tastiest succulent roast pork I've ever had

PS I accidently reported your post when 1st tried to reply FM
